Organized Storage for Completed Fiber Splices

 

The fusion splice tray is used to secure and organize spliced fibers, splice protection sleeves, and spare fiber inside optical cable closures, terminal boxes, and distribution equipment. The tray can be made from PP or ABS and commonly supports 12 or 24 fusion splices per tray.

It is compatible with both single-mode and multimode fiber. Depending on the tray structure, it can also accommodate 40 mm, 45 mm, or 60 mm splice protection sleeves.

Dedicated fiber routing channels, splice-sleeve fixing positions, and spare-fiber storage areas keep completed fiber routes separated and easier to identify. A controlled fiber path helps reduce the risk of compression or excessive bending inside the enclosure.

Installation formats include stackable, flip-type, and removable structures. These structural choices allow equipment designers to match the tray to different enclosure layouts, internal working spaces, and maintenance methods. Clear routing also helps technicians locate individual splice points during later inspection.

This component can be installed inside fiber optic cable joint closures, terminal boxes, fiber distribution boxes, ODF systems, outdoor fiber distribution cabinets, and other equipment that requires organized fusion-splice management.

Different host products may require different tray dimensions and mounting arrangements. The selected structure can therefore be coordinated with the internal design of the enclosure instead of using one fixed installation format for every application.
